About Course

This course provides a comprehensive exploration of the human body’s structural organization. Students move from the microscopic level of cells and tissues to the macroscopic level of organ systems and regional body parts. The curriculum emphasizes the relationship between form and function, providing the necessary clinical framework for understanding health, injury, and disease.

What Will You Learn?

  • By the end of the course, students are typically expected to:
  • Identify structures on cadavers, models, and histological slides.
  • Describe the blood supply, nerve innervation, and lymphatic drainage of any given organ.
  • Predict the functional loss resulting from specific nerve or vascular injuries.
  • Perform surface marking of internal organs on a living subject.
  • Note: Many modern courses now integrate Physiology directly into these chapters (A&P I & II), so you may find chapters on "how the heart beats" alongside "where the heart sits."
